Yes, both can transcribe entirely on your Mac. Superwhisper additionally offers cloud models you can opt into; Flit has no cloud path at all.
Can Flit transcribe an audio file?
Yes, since Flit 1.5. Drop an audio or video file on the Transcribe tab or on the menu bar icon and get a transcript, exported as text, Markdown, SRT or VTT, processed on your Mac like everything else. Superwhisper does this on Pro, and also records meetings.
