Say “ten thirty AM on Friday” or “1030 AM” and you get 10:30 AM either way. Spoken times, dates and numbers are handled by fixed rules rather than a model that might round, reword, or invent.

Questions
What exactly leaves my machine when I dictate?
Nothing. The speech model, the formatting and your dictionary all live on your Mac. Flit has no server, no account and no analytics. Screen context, when it is used, is read into memory for one dictation and discarded.
Does Flit meet my confidentiality obligations?
We can tell you what the software does, not what your regulator requires. Flit transmits nothing, so no third party receives client information from it. Whether that satisfies your professional duties is a question for your own risk advice, and we do not certify Flit against any standard.
Can it transcribe a recorded deposition or hearing?
No. Flit is live dictation: you hold a key and speak, and text appears at your cursor. It does not take audio files. If you need a recording transcribed, that is a different tool.
