Hold the key, speak, let go
Click into any text field, hold Fn and talk. Let go, and the finished text lands at your cursor about 0.7 seconds later.
The step most people miss: the Fn key. macOS uses the same 🌐 key for the emoji picker, so until “Press 🌐 key to” is set to “Do Nothing” in System Settings → Keyboard, holding it opens emojis as well as Flit. The setup guide shows the fix, with a working copy of the setting. On a keyboard that has no Fn key, or never sends it to the Mac, choose Right Command, Right Option or Right Control in Flit’s Settings → Keyboard.

No email after ten minutes?
Look in spam for an email from apps.fore.studio, or find every license for your email at apps.fore.studio/manage.
Already have Flit installed?
You do not need to download it again. Open Settings → License, paste the key and press Activate. The trial ends there and then.
Stuck on the Fn key or a permission?
The setup guide has a working copy of each setting. Anything else, email hi@flit.fyi and a person replies.

Vitals: the Activity Monitor alternative for Mac.
It groups every process under the app it belongs to, so you see 60 apps instead of 1,000 processes. It keeps 30 days of history, tells you when an app misbehaves, and lives in your menu bar.
