# Dictation app for sales teams on Mac

Canonical page: https://flit.fyi/use-cases/sales

**Log every call in seconds.** Notes written three hours after the call are worse notes, and notes never written are a deal you cannot hand over. The reason they slip is that typing them costs more than the next dial does. Speaking them costs about a quarter as much, and Flit puts finished sentences into whatever field your cursor is in, including the ones inside your CRM.

## What slows sales teams down

- Call notes get written at the end of the day, or not at all.
- Typing a recap eats the minutes you had for the next conversation.
- The same follow-up paragraph gets retyped every single day.
- Deal terms and customer names end up in someone else’s cloud.

## What Flit does for sales teams

### It types where your cursor is

Flit is not a CRM integration, which is why it works in all of them. Put the cursor in a Salesforce activity note, a HubSpot field, a LinkedIn message or a reply box, hold the key, and finished text appears there.

### Boilerplate on a phrase

Snippets turn a spoken trigger into a whole paragraph: your pricing recap, your answer to the security questionnaire, your calendar link. Say it once and the full text lands, punctuation and all.

### Account names, always right

Add prospects, product names and the acronyms your market uses to your personal dictionary. Flit spells them the way you spell them, so a recap does not need correcting before it is readable.

### Customer details stay on your machine

Pricing, objections, org charts and names are dictated, formatted and inserted entirely on your Mac. There is no server to breach and no vendor holding a copy of your pipeline.

## Finished text, not a transcript

Said: "spoke with maria thursday she wants pricing for 40 seats and a security review before q4"

Flit wrote, in Chrome: Spoke with Maria Thursday. She wants pricing for 40 seats and a security review before Q4.

Sentence breaks, capitals and Q4 come from fixed rules. The spelling of Maria comes from your dictionary.

## Why choose Flit over Wispr Flow

Deal notes name prices, customers and competitors, and Flit keeps them on the rep’s Mac. A team license is paid once, not renewed every month for every rep.

## Questions

**Does it work inside Salesforce or HubSpot?**

Yes, because it does not need to know about them. Flit types into the focused text field of any app, including web apps in Chrome, Safari or Arc. There is nothing to connect and no integration to maintain.

**Can it record and transcribe my calls?**

It does not record calls. If you already have a recording, Flit transcribes it on your Mac from the Transcribe tab, with nothing uploaded. Call recording carries consent rules that vary by country, and we would rather not be the tool that gets you on the wrong side of them.

**Will it sync my notes to the CRM automatically?**

No. Flit puts text at your cursor and stops there. Whatever you were going to click to save is still the thing that saves it.
